Mechanical weeder ZUZA 3

Technical information

ZUZA 3 machine is designed for mechanical weed control in crops growing in rows, at a spacing to allow tractor to pass on a cultivated lane.  This reduces the cost of maintenance and facilitates keeping these crops. The machine is perfect for organic farming, can significantly reduce or even eliminate the use of herbicides in the orchard. Use examples: young currants, strawberries and other plants up to a height of approx. 0.5 m (limits the tractor clearance).
ZUZA 3 is attached by the three-point linkage system and driven from inside the tractor hydraulics. The operator who sits on the device controls the operation of rotating heads via the mobile arm. The heads have three pairs of spring claw (or/and vertical knives) that destroy weeds. The working depth is set by changing the relative position of the head and the support plate, which copies the area. The device is equipped with a valve regulating the speed of the heads. The device ZUZA 3 is produced in the version of single-with the possibility of shifting the axle of the tractor to the right or to the left by approx. 20 cm. It is also possible to include additional modules and build a two- or three-row versions.

•     Working body with knives, diameter 300 mm
•     Smaller working body with daggers/hooves 225 mm
•     Standard working body with thicker tines, diameter 300 mm
